More from Mom’s High Country Visit, Summer 2012…

Mom was here for 9 days that we packed with as much adventure and good food as possible.

We camped by and soaked in two hot springs (The Hilltop and Buckeye), visited Bodie State Historic Park and Convict Lake and Mono Lake on the Eastside; went to Bridgeport (fish tacos at the Barn!) and Lee Vining (Latte Da espresso!) and Mammoth Lakes (organic zPizza!) and Bishop (Looney Bean coffee and Great Basin bagels and eye doctor visit); hiked in Tuolumne along the river, to the top of Dog Dome, out to Dog Lake, and around the Meadows; observed some awesome nature, made some great food, and generally enjoyed time visiting. It was awesome to share and show off my high country life!
