It’s winter in the Sierra

Tuolumne Meadows is covered in snow. I’ve moved down to El Portal. It’s winter in the Sierra Nevada. And I love it.

I got fully wrapped up in and consumed by Tuolumne life this summer. So many unbelievable experiences. So many life-altering experiences. I’m so grateful to have had this summer. And I’m looking forward to sharing my pictures and adventures and life revelations.

The biggest news is that I’m staying on in Yosemite. I was offered and accepted a full-time permanent position with the Yosemite Conservancy. I’ll be spending my winters living in El Portal and working in the Valley and I’ll be spending my summers living and working in Tuolumne.

More to come soon now that I’m out of the high country. Yay life!
